Wireless Festival in London Hyde Park

 

Without a doubt one of the great things about 

summer in London is the music festivals.

With my masters finished 

I’ve  reclaimed my social life

and hit Wireless  for

beats, dancing and good times.

 

Acts ranged from the bizarre …

Ke$ha – glitter, people in full size penis and pear suits,

growling she eats men alive  covered in fake blood. 

AS YOU DO…

Through good sets from Aphex Twin, Katy B,

Janelle Monae

and the Streets…

But… Chase and Status

& The Chemical Brothers stole the show…

 

with their energy-filled

banging dance sets 

 

only missing a full version of Galvanise …

Cheers to Wills and Kate

This weekend London was without a doubt THE place for all globetrotters to be.

With London only half an hour from home I was able to get a slice of the royal action first hand.

Well, sort of.

It might not have quite been Westminster Abbey but Brits and people from all over the world flocked to Hyde Park to wave their flags and raise a glass

or two,

or

three

to

Britain’s new golden couple…

After years of speculation, a short separation and eight long years, Waity Katie Catherine Middleton married Prince Wills this weekend.

Bleary eyed my alarm went off at six and I made my way to sunny Hyde Park.

For Pimm’s O’Clock

 BrIdESmAiDs who didn’t make the cut.

An electric

atmosphere,

and

fancy dress

in

abundance.

    

For some

the

excitement

was a bit too much…
